Great books all...but the one book I could't put down was Trans-Sister Radio. Never, never thought about the dynamics...very compelling and tender! I loved it!
If you start with "Midwives" you'll be hooked on all Bohjalian books immediately! It's my very favorite, though I love them all for different reasons.

I would add "Before You Know Kindness" as well as "The Buffalo Soldier". As always very thought provoking. "The Sandcastle Girls" truly opened my eyes to something I had never known about. Thank you so much for that. You are a gifted writer and great person!
