I had already read your fantasy books when I decided to try the SF ones. Somewhere there was a page of discussion on whether to read them in order of publication or in internal chronological order. I chose to go by publication date, reasoning the events didn't really exist until you wrote them.
Having found that Good Reads includes numbering in the titles, and that it's mostly by publication order, I have been reading in that order. Nearly done now, and I have concluded that reading in that way is a good idea if you start back in the 70's. Otherwise, the internal order is best until you reach the recent past where Cryoburn gets read before Captain Vorpatril only because the latter hadn't been published when you got your hands on the former.
