Andrea Stoeckel Go has routes in a lot of Pacific Rim countries and is one if the first "board games"

Nenia Campbell It's a little like chess crossed with Chinese checkers right? I bet it spawned both.

Joseph Chess' ancestor actually developed in India several centuries after Go apeared. Othello is a modern, slightly easier version of Go.

Martyn Stanley I tried to learn Go, I think it would take a long time to master. There appears to be more strategic options to you in Go than in Chess.
