My goal was simply to write a book that would still be in print in 40 years. I am already half way to that goal and thanks to ebooks it looks like I will make it with ease. That is especially good for business books.
I like how you describe writing as both an intrinsic pleasure and possible dissociative disorder. It's hard to imagine how writing Miles couldn't have been enjoyable a good portion of the time! The same goes for your other books too! I'm so very glad you shared the "worlds" in your mind for us all to enjoy :)
I'm personally very glad that you kept adding to the total volume of reading material in the world! There's more out there than I could ever read, but if yours had been left off, my life would have been emptier.
