Who are your favorites among the heroines you've created?
If I could only list two, I'd say Tesh-Dar, one of the alien characters from my IN HER NAME series, and Jodi Mackenzie, who's in the Redemption trilogy of the same series.
So there are good women among the aliens? (This is a relief to know, as I always enjoy reading about female Other characters depicted sympathetically.)
Tesh-dar is an awesome female character and why I am a fan.

I wouldn't describe the female characters using sympathetic. They are kick-ass, strong-willed, tough, assured - some of them are even human.
The description makes the female aliens seem so evil, though. The word "nightmarish" is used. It makes it seem as though female power is a thing to dread. It's really not like this at all??
hmmm, Margaret Thatcher, Theresa May, Hilary Clinton....nightmarish enough for anyone i think lol
