Tyler I love your Sharing Knife series! Thank you so much for giving us a little bit more insight.

Marti Dolata As Lois herself has said about some stories, fanficwoman to the rescue. Giving no details out of consideration to Lois, if you go to Archive of our own and search the sharing knife fabric, there is an excellent one on this topic.

Marti Dolata Fanfics not fabric, I hate autofill.

Iva Koleva Thank you for your answer! Sigh, I would love to read that prequel... I love apocalyptic stories and seeing the oh-so-powerful lords deal with forces that get out of control would be great... But I'll get anything you write instead :)

Chris I loved the books, but I never imagined a prequel and thought Dag and Fawn's adventure ended too early. I wanted a journey to the north to find the source of the malices. Maybe discover dead cities with books and tools that gave further hints about the source of the malices and how to end them all. Maybe people to the north of the source of the malices, cut off from Dag and Fawn's people by the blight.

Lois Bujold At Chris: Mm, not north, that just runs into the arctic, which is life- and malice-free. West, or overseas, maybe.

Ta, L.

Susan Price I heartily endorse the "will read anything you care to write" sentiment. You haven't let me down yet.

Eleanor With Cats I really liked the Sharing Knife and it snuck up on me. At first I enjoyed it but wasn't that into it, and then when I had all 4 books together and reread them I just wanted more.

Michael Bernstein Lois, is the arctic 'truly' life-free? It isn't here, not by a long shot.

And even if it is life-free *now*, was it always so (or was the edge always in the same place)? Perhaps an expedition to a legendary lost city in the north to look for answers would be worthwhile after all...
