I absolutely agree about living in the future. The role of women has changed dramatically through the brave and untiring efforts, both big and small, by so many. Women must realize how they are seen in this world and, more importantly, how they see themselves. On the world stage, educational opportunities are key in order to make inroads. Being "well-read" allows us to see this transition in the light. Thank you, Ms. Allende, for developing strong, resilient women characters who lead us to believe that all things are possible.
