Anne The idea that Philippa Gregory is 'historically accurate' would be amusing if it wasn't so tragic. I find it appalling that she is in documentaries as a 'historian' when she has absolutely no qualification as one.

Lizzy Anne She doesn't always stick to history as we know it...Portugal/Richard III? Richard III and Henry VII were both known for being faithful to their wives. Among other things....

Rebecca OK I have to ask--Why do you read Philippa Gregory's books if you don't like them?

There are some books I really like and some I don't, but that is just my taste....One book I will mention, though it is not HF is 'The Little House' it is a really good psychological thriller and I enjoyed the TV adaptation as well.

So whether you enjoy Ms Gregory's books or not is entirely up to the reader, so there really is no reason for anyone to be rude.:)
