Maureen Hicks hates Richard III and anyone connected to him. I'm not sure why you would use such an anti-Richard source for a book about his wife. That's very odd to me. And it's not just in TKMD, in all the other books, you portray characters as saying horrible things about Anne Neville, and really, the entire Neville family. You might not "hate" Anne or the Neville's, but you certainly don't think much of them. You're writing gives your intentions away simply because you do it repeatedly. I think Anne is fascinatingly because she's so mysterious; we don't know her personal feelings about anything. I think you missed a big opportunity with her, but this is just my opinion. Thank you for answering my question.

Charlotte But you portrayed Henry VII as a rapist, how is that liking a historical character?

Elmer What I'm interested in is finding when book 4 of the order of darkness will be out. When I finished book 3 it left a lot of questions. What happened to the characters, the three men and the two women? At the end of book 3 you said that the next one would be out in 2014, what happened? Elmer Inman

Maureen Natalie, I was more than respectful. I even thanked her for answering my question because I honestly didn't think she was going to. Anne is one of my favorite historical people, and I didn't think she handled her in a way that was "respectful" of the real historical person. She seems to use Anne to reiterate her obvious love of Elizabeth Woodville, and then makes her a paranoid, jealous, and weak person when there is no evidence she was any of those things. She has other characters spout off horrible things about Anne. This wasn't good fiction, it was just bad characterization. So, if you want to protect someone from being disrespected, it should be Anne Neville. But thanks so much for reiterating my point with your comment. :)

Natalie Maureen, you misunderstood me. I was speaking to someone else whose comment has now been taken off. If you look again, my comment is made out to LC. That was the person I found disrespectful and rude.
