I am sure the he is partially correct. There is probably a bit of him in Jamie.

One of my favorite stories is about meeting, on the Isle of Skye, a visitor--a lovely, very small elderly white-haired lady--who asked if I had heard of Diana Gabaldon. I replied, "of course. In fact my daughters were afraid I might try walking through the stones while I'm over here." With an impish grin, she answered, "Oh, I wouldn't hesitate, if I could be sure of meeting Jamie on the other side!"
I love that, he knows he is Jamie! LOL; I am certain you tire of us telling you how much we love the books; and the characters, and the story. But, we do. Thanks for sharing this wonderful world with us. So so glad you that you decided to write that novel, Diana!
