Max Hamulyak Thanks for your reply (my apologies for the shortness of the question, i had to trim a 1149 question to just 421), I have contected them, and hope they will
Make it available in my region. I want to say I really enjoy your work, and am looking forward to more books in this universe (wishfull thinking would be a movie adaption)

Max Hamulyak Got a reply from tantor (really fast) "Unfortunately, the Mageborn series can only be sold in North America." Thats really a bummmer, for me and many others worldwide audiobooks are a great way to experience new worlds. I supose you cant do anything about it by reaching out to them?

Michael Manning It appears not. Apparently my contract with them was specific in the regional rights, whereas with Podium it was less restricted.

:-(

Max Hamulyak Well thanks for trying, I really appreciate it :-) it is a shame that region rights even need to exist. I can understand them to some point, but I think that other than for maybe politcal reasons, content should be available in all regions. (And then I am not just talking about books or audiobooks) and then they blame piracy for declining sales in the industry. Some streaming customers even block (paying) vpn-users.
Piracy is sometimes the way to go, but I was really hoping to support you this time, and am still refusing to pirate mageborn. I hope Tantor will change their mind, or reach an agreement to make the content available in more regions (might lead to more sales, that leads to more profit, and I forgot what is bad about that) in the near future
In the mean time I will enjoy the thornbear and embers of illeniel series on audiobook
Regards
Max
