You might like to try Diego Marani's New Finnish Grammar. Dorothy, don't be put off by the title. It's just what you're after, I'd say.

Dorothy Caimano Thank you! The title doesn't put me off. I will definitely check it out. The review in The Guardian is intriguing. And even if it were a grammar book, Finnish grammar is amazing... conjugating nouns? Really! But I love the way they name things exactly what they are and don't get fancy (e.g. not "dictionary" but rather "word book.")
