Kimiya Roudgar But you may actually like some of them which stay true to the original story and somehow just continue it.some of these people really have talent.fanfiction.net is the greatest website for great fanfics.don't listen to those who tell you it's wattpad.

Sage Thoughts Why not write your own story with your own characters? I think that's the best way to show off your talent.

Agreed. If you're good at writing write your own book, and if you're not don't try to ruin some one else's masterpiece!

message 5: by Kimiya (new)

Kimiya Roudgar I don't call it "ruining" someone's masterpiece.some of these people continue the story not change the actual plot and it's not a way of showing off their talent for them,it's just not wanting the story you love to ever end!
And for the record,I don't write fanfics myself but I really like reading them so I had to say sth.But well it's your idea and I respect it nonetheless.

Red I've read some of the four or five Percy Jackson fics on fanfiction.net. They're not good. At all.

message 7: by Kimiya (new)

Kimiya Roudgar There are lots of fanfics there and you had the misfortune of reading the bad ones sorry.yes I have read like 10 terrible fanfics there too but there are great ones there too like "Long Road Ahead".It has 29 chapters so if you're gonna read it pls don't judge until you've finished it.

Red Wait, sorry, scratch that. That was crossovers there were only a few on. *facepalm* Dangit me.

Laurel He says he never reads fan fiction, but he read the movie script *Dabs aggressively*

RaiOfSunshine You're not missing anything believe me. Most of the stories are pretty much carbon copies of each other and just aren't written very well. At least that's my opinion, but I'm hardly an expert writer :/
