I see where you're going with this question...
It appears to take place at least roughly half a year later, as the Blood of Olympus ended in August while the preview chapters take place in the winter.

Yep, exactly 17, as her birthday was during The House of Hades, and this takes place the winter after.
That's kind of weird. Magnus treats her like she's a year or two younger than him and Magnus is 16 according to the book.
Is Percy in that book? And are Annabeth and Magnus siblings?
Percy is not in the book. Annabeth and Magnus are cousins. Frederick (Annabeth's dad) is the brother of Magnus's mother.
In the book 'Magnus Chase and the Hammer of Thor' chapter 57...Magnus says that Annabeth was wearing a long sleeved purple shirt with the letters SPQR:UNR
on it....the unr stands for University so after the battle of the blood of olympus book where she is approximately 18
