Mariana I actually didn't like people shipping Dean and Sabrina. My prayers were that she wasn't his heroine. In my opinion it would be a generic story we can find in a bunch of books. I'm really glad Elle Kennedy chose to change it to Allie, it'll be a lot more exciting!

Sherry Badawi Eh, I disagree but that's fine. It is what it is. I personally think Allie/Dean sound generic actually. playboy vs cute quirky girl. Where have I read that before? Was really excited for a feisty gorgeous girl for a change.

Ramona @Sherry: Actually Hannah describes Allie as naughty. Remember Allie had no problems walking around naked when she and Hannah first became Roommates. Allie is probably way more feisty than we know now.

Sherry Badawi Lol that's quirky to me, not feisty. I can't imagine her being as feisty as Sabrina- if she were, Elle would have just stuck with Sabrina. Honestly the series has been good but Elles formula is obvious and she's reluctant to switch it up with a heroine like Sabrina and I think it's cause she sleeps around and is drop dead gorgeous and is Deans equal in every way. She's not quirky like grace or fragile like Hannah and she fears some people won't respond well to her. And she's probably right, but I for one loved her. It probably would have been darker but I wouldn't have minded, not every book needs to be the same. I still don't know if I'll read it, I might. But I've already built up dean/Sabrina in my head and I doubt allie will compare. And it bothers me cause that means dean and Sabrina really did just hate each other. but I dont know, who knows.

Ramona @Sherry: You see that is what surprised me. Reading that scene I never got any kind of feeling that Sabrina and Dean had a) any sexual tension, b) would actually fit together. They just seemed to be two people who obviously didn't like each other resp. hate each other. Sabrina never seemed very significant or likable. Not because she seems to sleep around, but because she just didn't seem to have any kind of respect for others. I also never got the feeling that Hannah is fragile. But I guess to each his/her own and everyone interprets things differently. I read a lot of books from Elle and other authors and they often pair people I don't see coming but I usually trust them to make something great out of it. Which is way I never have and never will not read a book just because the mean couple isn't who I wanted it to be.

Sherry Badawi Hannah WAS fragile. lol no doubt about that. Not weak per say, but fragile definitely. In the deal she repeatedly stated that she was broken and wanted Garrett to fix her. That's what I meant by fragile. And in regards to Sabrina yeah, some people liked her and some didn't. That whole "disrespectful" attitude is what really appealed to me personally. I liked that she regarded Dean with so much disdain (as he did her- it was not one-sided). She clearly had her own opinions of him beforehand (hence the nickname "richie") that led to her behavior towards him and I was excited to see both their opinions of one another change as he began to see her as more than a bitchy groupie and she him as more than a rich playboy who coasts his way through life. But that didn't happen and that's fine. Honestly, I don't feel that much loyalty to authors. If a book appeals to me, I read it. If it doesn't, I don't. Once I had a iffy feeling going into the 4th book in a series. I read it and immediately regretted it. I have a pretty good idea where Elle is going with this book and I'm disappointed, but not spiteful. Authors ultimately have to go with their own creative gut. They can't please everyone and they won't. I might read it depending on the blurb, but it's not looking likely. I wanted feisty and gorgeous and Elle is promising us cute and quirky. Nothing wrong with that, but obviously completely different heroines. I'm sure it'll be a good book but I don't know if it'll satisfy me considering I'd already be going into it with a strike against the couple.
