Cintia I never tell people what I write about, because I had bad experience in the future. Laughter, and bullying when I was in school. I write since forever, but now I just can't. I wrote 4 short fan fictions about my favorite tv show, and I planned to write one per month, but now, I can't even do that, because words' flow simply stopped there too... I don't write an specific genre, I just write when I have something, and I try to be open to the books I read... This year I have to read 20, minimum

Kate Quinn (Sorry for the delayed response; GR does not tell me when I get comments to answered questions.)

I hear you about the bullying. I once sat on a school bus in middle school with ears burning, as a boy read out (in a mocking voice, naturally) the poem I'd had picked for the school magazine. It was horrendous.

For your writer's block, I would say - don't force it. You don't HAVE to write - it's a pleasure, not homework, and if it's not giving you pleasure at the moment, then try not to stress. Keep reading; keep watching TV shows that are well-written and make you think "I wonder . . ." Keep jotting scraps whenever you think of them; dialogue or poetry or fanfic. Try to get something down, even if you think it's horrible. Try to do that even if you're not in the mood; just get something down. Once you have words, you can always fiddle to fix them. You can't fix a blank page. (Not my quote, but one I live by when the words aren't coming.)
