Related to that...How did Prince Xav get off-planet to try to recruit help when all the interstellar traffic to Barrayar was Cetagandan?
It wasn't, of course. Komarr, not Cetaganda, controlled the wormhole route... wriggle-room enough.
I'd never thought of writing Vorkosigan fanfic until I read that... Oh, the possibilities.
