Jerome Brooke I am in search of reviews. I write F&SF, paranormals, and taboo erotica. I am an active reviewer on my part. Contact astarteimmortal@yahoo.com -- jerry

Jo Cantu Music, usually instrumental music, closed eyes and deep mediation. Clear the clutter and open for all things new....Plus you have to believe :)

Charles Pitts I agree. If you think about it, you'll get stuck more and it's a tough cycle to break. If I feel myself falling into that trap, I move on to a different book for a time before returning back to the original writing.

message 4: by Paul (new)

Paul West When I get stuck, I go back a few pages and begin reading, making edits as I go, and by the time I get to where I left off, I'm usually on course again.

message 5: by Jazz (new)

Jazz Singh I leave it and go to another story. There's usually more than one story I'm working on at a time

B.M.B. Johnson Those all work, too. By the way, what is writer's block! This doesn't seem to be an issue.

Writer's Block: That thing that happens when you're reading someone else's book, or watching TV. or eating or sleeping.

Susannah Bell Moving on to a different part of the story is a good idea! If I get stuck, I know it's because something earlier in the story hasn't worked and go back to look for it. It really helps.
