Great answer/non-answer! No sarcasm intended. There are no definite answers: It's what works for you. In this case, I'm with you. Structure stifles my creativity.

It was hard to put all my research parameters in the initial question because of the character limitations in the box. I need input from authors who have reached publication in many different ways, MFA and non-MFA. (I took the position against an MFA for my paper, but needed input for different possibilities.)
I really love the "new" style of your writing and am grateful for your input. I don't think there is anything wrong with a self-taught route, or a disciplined one, they are just different.
