Yeah, don't do what I did and read The Twelve first. Still mad about that mistake. I was so lost but also stubbornly continued on because I felt like I should be "getting it" since I knew how to read and all.
You definitely have to read The Passage-Trilogy, it's fantastic! 'The Passage' is one of my favourite books! *-*
