I bought the ARC from Baen. I was able to get it in a format (?mobi? I'm not sure) which is I could retrieve and read on my iPad using the kindle app.

Baen haven't figured out how to put up ebooks for pre-order on Amazon.
Amazon haven't figured out how to make book samples available for pre-order books.
More work needed.
Oops ! For the very first time (that I am aware of) a Baen ebook can be preordered from the Kindle store
US Canada Australia & Germany anyway but not UK (which may be a different edition) auto delivery on 16th January
