I would add that much to my surprise, there was actually an early 1900s book published about the uses of yoga and meditation in the Christian Church. I wish I had written down the title. The library that had it is now long defunct in terms of a general collection. But of course, meditation itself has been a part of Christianity for a very long time, as it is in other religions.
