Sherwood Smith This answer resonates with me. 'block' implies the desire to write. I believe that if one really wants to write, the words will come. It's a bit like tides, ebb and flow. However, the most serious writer's block is when the urge to write turns to indifference, or even dislike. I've known people who stopped writing, and whose creative energies turned to other ways of expression. (Less frustrating ways!)
