Well that's a real shame. I was looking forward to that storyline, as I've read Ms. Reichs' books and have watched the spinoff show. I do understand the movie rights thing, although I'm more concerned by the book itself. Only because it seems that none of my favorite books ever really get made into movies or series. No offense.
Generally speaking, I think it best that one's favorite books rarely get made into movies or series... the ones that are well done to the point of not causing a brick to be thrown in the direction of the screen, tend to be the rule-proving exceptions!
