Thank you so much for your answer, I actually thought Iceland might be the one! Anything set in the past brings its own difficulties, but it struck me that the past is just as much a 'foreign country' as Iceland. To venture into the past in Germany has to have been challenging, if only because the language barrier becomes another obstacle.
I have loved your books for a very long time. This new series set in Germany in the past is every bit as sparkling as your other work, but more than that it brings to life an important period which is now too old for people's memories. Thank you!
