Susie Schroeder I loved Under the Tuscan Sun. Our family took a "Vespa Tour" of Chianti last year and I loved it. I ate so much and didn't gain an ounce.

Quetzi Fernald You were the first travel book I had ever read & I feel in love with your writing after that! Can you please write more about Cortona & all the beauty that you have uncovered there? I'm dying for more books written by you. Now, in my old age I live vicariously through all the wonderful books you write! :) I never thought I would love Italy as much as you have made me love it! If I could, I would travel there in a heart beat!

Elaine I understand exactlyu what you mean when you found Italy to be overwelming- I feel in love with the city of Florence and I lived there for 5 years in the '70s, when there weren't many Americans residing there! I taught English and had my own little art studio as well. I wrote all my experiences, many humorous, in my ebook Florence and Me. If you like I can send you a pdf or mobi copy. I'm a Goodread author. Look me up!
