Kat I wish there was a way to like your question, Eva, because yes to what you said. I thought it was Lanyon's most interesting and best series, and perhaps I'm a masochist, but being put through the wringer by realistically flawed characters like A & J was simply a top notch experience.

Oldkozmicblues thanks so much for the answer :) i'm all for the drama! i just love the torturous time between publications when the relationship of the main characters remained unclear in the previous book. that's so exciting!
@Loederkoningin: i'm glad i'm not the only one. this series was really unpredictable!

It's in a different way but I'd say Haunted Heart has a lot of that going on, can't say too much without spoiling it though.
