Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ Yosbe Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ I dont know what publishers are thinking because the first two were more beautiful and better. How can a THIRD book sell better? is a third book. You HAVE to buy the first one.

Digne Well, the rest of the series was redesigned as well. The new covers are more guy friendly than the originals were. However I think this is grossly unfair. Why does our culture allow guys to be lazy on this point? Girls read books with "guy" covers all the time but guys refuse to read books with "girl" covers.

Lee This is one of those issues that shouldn't send me off the deep end, but it does. I really don't like it when publishers change cover designs midway, or even at the end of, a series. Keep the hardcovers all the same, publishers! Then, when a series gets released into paperback form, go nuts, I say. Release a hundred variants, for all I care. Just stop messing around. As a guy, I loved the first two covers for the "Across the Universe" series. I did not, however, like the alternate cover for the third book.
