Walter Underwood The MTBI is interesting, but the model that is used in modern psychology is "big five" or "five factor". That holds up in study after study.

MTBI categories can seem really accurate, but they often echo the test. It is sort of like "Do you like peanut butter?" then "You are the kind of person who likes peanut butter."

Isn't that what the big five actually is? Like, it's not hard to tell I'm introverted-high openness-sort of agreeable-low of consciousness. So, what's the point of taking a test to tell me exactly that? Meanwhile, mbti also a the more in depth version based on jungian functions, that actually tries to explain the cognitive processes involved. The only problem it's that it doesn't have any real evidence to support, so it's more of a question of whether it fits your personal observations.
