Alice Amazing, especially to a city-slicker like me! It all sounds so exotic and adventuresome.

Anna Faversham I love cities too. Amazing buildings. It's a bit like man versus nature, but I love them both.

What's your city like Alice?

Alice I just posted my question/ your answer/ your book/ your interview - on Facebook. But you have no FB page. Really? Get with it, girl!

Anna Faversham I know... I decided I couldn't keep up with everything and live a fairly normal life so I sacrificed FB and Twitter. A couple of good GR friends always tweet and FB for me.

Thank you, Alice. You see how people like me need people like you in this world. You make a difference - for the better!

It's 8 p.m. on a Saturday night here in England and the Mr is wondering why I'm not watching Strictly Come Dancing. I'm trying hard to appear normal...

Pamela Eglinski My "almost published novel" takes place in Macau/South China Sea in 1844. Talk about research! Chinese junks, British man-o-war, galleons. Tons of research, but I love it!

Anna Faversham Wow! I visited China a couple of years ago (all travel is a 'couple of years ago' now!) and was absolutely fascinated by so many things including its history, its architecture (of course) and its people. I have photos galore of its junks - loved them. To spend time immersed in research is surely something to love, as you say. Your book will be something to treasure. Keep going!
