I also love reading about a family that just goes on forever (well, in theory, there's only one author who has attempted it that I know of and her writing has gone backwards in quality in recent years). I love it so much that I've even created a Sullivan Sims Family in The Sims 3 (the hardest part is making sure my Sims give birth to the correct gender child in order to follow your narrative).
