Scott Theus Thank you for adding some insight into the Spiritwalker universe. I am a history nut, and Ever since reading The Golden Key my favorite stories have been those that are either alt-history, offshoots of our one world, or based on cultures and mythologies that once existed.

I find that the effort authors like you put into the world building is as important to the story as plot and character development. In fact, without some level of world development to set the background for the story's plot and characters to exit a a story will quickly lose my interest.

Kate Elliott Scott, thanks. For me world building is as much a part of the story as the characters and plot. If I've done my job right they are so intertwined that characters and/or plot from one landscape can't be lifted out and dropped into another.
