Sidney Bair Can you please let me ask 1 question. 1 that I really need to know. It will really help me in life and figuring it out.

Amanda Will you write about the Hindu gods?
I had a dream about Shiva. He was a twelve year old boy.
Do you think I'm crazy? The Hindu gods are real.
Do you think I'm crazy or do think I'm normal?
You can put Percy Jackson, The Kanes, and Magnus Chase in the series. The Greek, the Roman, the Egyptian, and the Norse gods are real and so are the Hindu gods. I hope they don't think the Hindu gods are a threat "Percy. the Kanes, and Magnus" Sadie's mother said she saw other gods and rival magicians even other gods. Do you think I'm crazy or not or normal?

message 3: by Amanda (new)

Amanda I know you're not answering new questions currently but I hope you see this {above}.

message 4: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Sorry do you think I'm crazy or do you think I'm normal?
"Shiva". "The Hindu gods". I was sixteen when I had the dream.

Amanda Sorry wrote other gods twice. Sadie's mother said she saw other magicians {not rival magicians}and even other gods Egypt has always had rival magic. I hope they don't think "the Hindu gods are a threat" Percy, the Kanes, and Magnus. You can Percy, the Kanes, and Magnus in the series. I'm Christian by the way "Nondemonational."

Amanda Will you please write about Hinduism?
The fact that Sadie's mother said that she saw other magicians and even other gods and Egypt has always rival magic makes me think that they will fight against another mythology. I hope they don't think the Hindu gods are a threat "Percy, the Kanes and Magnus" You can put Percy {meant that above} the Kanes, and Magnus in the series. The Greek, the Roman, the Egyptian and Norse gods are real so are the Hindu.

Amanda Hi Rick Riordan I was wondering are the Greek, the Roman, the Egyptian, and the Norse gods real? I want to know. It'd be pretty cool if this was real. Don't you agree?

message 13: by Kai (new)

Kai Chen I don't think writing about Hindu gods is a good idea, as I feel like Hinduism is a much more spiritual and morality-based religion, with more spiritual philosophy, compared to other polytheistic religions like the Greek and Norse gods. For example, Shiva, Brahma, and Vishnu are considered to be all different aspects of ONE GOD, if I remember correctly.

And there's still a pretty large population of actual Hindus that might take offense at someone who writes (entertaining, but irreverent) books about extinct religions making entertainment out of an alive religion that people care about deeply and believe. When people don't actually believe a religion, it's okay to make entertainment about them. But when a large population "believes they're real", it's bad to write about them for irreverent entertainment.
