His newest book, The Fireman was voted best Horror book this year by Goodreads members. I voted for him too!
I just finished "A Head Full of Ghosts" 3 days ago, and I really enjoyed it. In addition to Shirley Jackson, I feel it also has it's ancestral origins in a mix of Saki, O. Henry, and Frank Stockton.
No surprise Joe is such a gifted writer. He didn't fall far from the tree! I've enjoyed all his books so far, but NOS4A2 is my fave. :-)
"The Fireman" blew me away. I am so impressed with how good he is, and I enjoy the references to one another's work you both work in. It's fun to catch, and I'm sure fun to write. He's good. And you have both shaped, and continue to shape, the world. Love your work.
I love your work and always have. I devour everything you write as soon as it's available. Your son is a very accomplished author too and I've enjoyed all of his books as well as your wife's books. With two authors as influences Joe couldn't fail. Your all so very good!! Keep pumping them out and I will keep being the "Faithful Reader"
After I read the Fireman I found and ordered everything Joe has written. Including the screenplay. He's good, really really good
cool. thanks Mr. King, I am gonna read all of them, Joe Hill, Percy, and Tremblay. if you have time, you may dig my book Grand Theft Life which you can find on amazon. I was inspired as a kid by reading you and Charles Dickens and William Faulkner. thanks 4 all you do. -KatYa
Received Lock and Key 1 and 2 today along with the last 3 Dark Tower books am so excited, still waiting on delivery of NOS4A2
The Equinox by M.J. Preston is one of my favorites. I love everything he has written, novels and short stories. His writing just sucks you in, makes it hard to put the book down.
I really like Joe Hill, and Josh Malerman! Bird Box and A House At the Bottom Of The Lake were amazing.
i'm listening to Sleeping Beauties right now - man, nobody does stories like SK -- it's amazing how much housework i get done when he's rocking my headphones... {sigh} The Dark Tower was a boon to my move... Frank Muller ... man... he was THE voice... dang it, here i am all maudlin and commenting on King.... GOOD WORK DUDE!!!
I read Head Full of Ghosts and I honestly gasped out loud at the dinner table scene at the end. What an amazing work!
I'm trying out Benjamin Percy - Red Moon - on the basis of this. :-) Also waiting for Elevation to arrive on my Kindle.
I have just written a book and I don't know how to find readers ,,,,

I don't know how to be a popular author ????
Can you help me ???
The book I wrote about describes "Addiction" ,,,
in the story I wrote ,, there is a guy who caused himself to have addictions because of a one-sided love ,,, after he admitted that he is addicted he tried to quit but he relapsed ,, he quit and relapsed ,,, until he then finds an effective solution to stop his addictions and relapses ,,, this book is going to teach the one how to stop an addiction

I've seen In the Tall Grass. Great collaboration of rather and son. I was on the edge of my seat from the moment they entered the field of horror.
Dear Mr. King,
Why do you not accept new questions. I have a question about the Dark Tower book, could you please, please answer it?
Is the reason, why Roland has to repeat his search for the dark tower again and again, that he has sacrifice all his friends for that search? Have he repeat again and again because he must learn that he should change his prioritys?
Or have i interpreted that wrong? (less)
There is this baby horror author in India 'Ajinkya Bhasme' I recently took his material and his book -As Death Stared Back reminded me so much of The Shining, he seems to be India's answer to King.
I did not realize he was your son. My wife and I enjoy the NOS4A2 television series. I am sure the book is much better.
I love Joe Hill as well. He’s a great author. I loved his book 20th century ghosts. It’s one of my favorite books. I love your work Stephen King. My TOP 6 favorite books by you are Needful things, Doctor Sleep, The shining , it, Misery and Pet Sematary. My also favorite Horror author is Dan Simmons carrion comfort. I love him because he reminds me of you Stephen King because of the similar work he does as well too. I hope you write more books and same to Joe Hill
Joe Hill? Well, Fair enough. It's well deserved, anyways. But, ahem...
Stephen, you got any openings for adoption? I need some promotion, I'm broke, but totally OK with calling you papa. ;)
I was blown away by Tabitha King as well as Joe Hill and I had never ventured much out of my comfort zone genre previously.
Donno if anybody can help me on this other than stephen king himself.. id just like to know feom the stand... where he got his idea for the dark man.. spesifically to call him that and his characteristics
Stephen King has given us so many great books and short stories over the years, but the best thing he's given us is Joe Hill.
