Aurora Oh cool!! Now if only I had an iPad . . . lol. XD Ah well, can I find those images elsewhere? I really would like to see how everything looks in your mind.
Ah yes, the translations from book to movie, some are pretty good, others are not. Even though it was a miss, I still enjoy the movie, and it was because of the movie that I began to read your stories, so it has that going for it. ;) And I still adore the Thief Lord in both book and movie format. XD

Duane Watkins I have a comment, not really a question, but I think new line cinema (the company that produced the movie) could have done a better job of it. Brennan Fraiser was good at playing Mortimer, don't get me wrong, I just think that NLC could've written the script quite a bit better.

If any more of Cornelia's books were to be adapted into movies, I figure that Disney would do the better job of keeping the story even if they have to cut out some of the pieces or speed events up so that it fits the set amount of time needed to tell the story.

It's literally the same thing that happened to Regain by Christopher Paolini. 20th century Fox completely gave up on the story. However, the difference is that they won't give him back the rights to his story and won't sell it either. They're letting it die.

I love books, always have, always will. But if I may make a suggestion, if you ever wish to allow another story of yours be turned into a movie, I'd hope you'd let Disney do the production. They're better with fantasy than anyone else.

From one writer to another, your books are amazing.
