Cheryl H. So glad you didn't write him out. He is by far why I keep returning to the series. I am firmly in camp Jean-Claude :)

Tracy Paglione Thanks so much for clearing that up! I'm glad you didn't! He gives Anita a balance to the other men. Loving the new book so far!

Tracy Paglione P.S. - I hope Asher is getting better. He was a favorite of mine until he became too much of a pain.

Thearmchaircritic I have a feeling Anita's world would have been nowhere near as large or sympathetic without JC.

Jasmin Johansen I for one is really happy that you didn't write him out of the series. He is one of my favorite characters! So thank you :)

Janice Haven't read any of the Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series, as of yet, but I've enjoyed skimming thru them. Have to be in the exact right mood to read such a dark paranormal series. I do love funny, non-scary, non-gruesome paranormal romance series, though.

Janice I'd never want to run into JC in a dark alley, if he was for real.

Deborah I think is was the background of what makes JC who he is. I think I remember you saying you couldn’t write about his background because you like to research it, like going to Ireland or Vegas and talking to SWAT, since you can’t time travel it would be harder to really get the feel of the centuries where he was human and then living with Belle
