I'm very sorry that you received so many attacks for how you ended the series. It was not deserved at all. To me that was the ending that made the most sense for the character. I loved the Sookie books, but I for one am happy that you have moved onto other material. Towards the end of the series, I was really wanting to see different stories from you. Luckily you have given us 4 great novels since concluding the adventures of Miss Stackhouse.

I think it is so bad that they reacted like that -- If anything though, you should take it as a good thing. People loved you and your writing so much, that they were upset enough to even send you threats...? That your world, your characters, effected them so much, they had that reaction.
You left a legacy, Harris. Never forget that.
