Follow your heart in what your mind wants you to write.... it's usually right on on what you need to write.
Usually when you have an idea describe it. Then, step by step, edit mainly concept and create a story around it. Slowly you write your first book. And certainly read books - it's great help in creating your own writing style. That's my own experiences. Have a great day
