Jerri When they went out to the stored fleet in Gentleman Jole I kept waiting for Cavelo (spelling, the female trouble from The Vor Game) to be in the process of looting/stealing the fleet and need to be defeated. But then I also expected that she was the one who sent the poisoned pearls in Winterfair Gifts.

Both stories are great as they are, of course.

Sean I think a lot of readers just expected more action.

Kim Langley Well, whatever people might have expected, I loved what was delivered! I appreciate how you allow the characters to grow up, and face mature challenges. When Miles was thinking of going off script at Aral's funeral, but stuck with his prepared eulogy...I loved you for that!

Sean I think it was perfect as is. There was conflict, but most importantly, there was resolution. Cordelia's happy ending, shaded by Aral's not living to see it, but sweeter for that.

Tara Bozarth What are some of the coincidence of plot timing have you been accused of?
