I had the same impression first, but when I reach the EPILOGUE only realised that Tamba was real. Its a touching story and at the same time give an emphasis on human resiliency. I think a lot from the humanitarian experiences of the author has come into the book. Specially, the way the main characters are built. Seeing up the context. Impartial point of view, etc.
