Cathy I enjoyed reading Moirin's story in Naamah's series. What is your basis for her diadh-anam?

Beyonder Thank you for that insight. These little gems are one of my favorite treasures in your writing. Be well!

Jacqueline Carey Thanks on both counts! Cathy, as far as I can recall, Moirin's diadh-anam was my own invention.

Valerie The mythology from Kushiel's Avatar was fascinating in it's own right, but it became so much more real when I took a history class one summer and we actually got a little more immersive in learning about Zoroastrianism. Gave me a whole entirely new perspective on what was going on during that phase of the story!

Mack 'reading a translation of Aztec poetry about the transitory nature of life and the poignancy of death.' -- Reminds me a bit of Cereus House!
