'Ink and Steel' and 'Hell and Earth' were originally two books? (Not to mention two of my favorite books ever written. :)) What was the original manuscript?
They were written as one manuscript, called THE STRATFORD MAN, which wound up being the title for the duology. It was, well, too long to print. :D Back in those days...
