You may be correct but it seems like a convoluted way to get results. I did have an author contact me and say that the chapters were so easy to read that he read them when he went to the bathroom. I wasn't sure if he was serious but it is a fast reading book.
May seem convoluted, but it is what it is. Some authors feel their time is better spent on other ways to market, but I'm not a rich man, so I tend to look for ways on a budget.
