We, in Texas, have mixed teams in Little League. In face, we had a very successful women's professional football team. It's time we shifted the thinking about Texas. We don't ride horses to work and carry guns everywhere. We're actually pretty progressive.
Robin, here in the liberal capital of the USA - New York City - we really do think of Texas as the capital of the Red States. That's not a bad thing, it's just how our world view is. I'm sure many people have misconceptions about us. If you don't visit a place and get to know the people, you just go with what you hear. And seriously, sometimes I wonder if everyone in NYC has a gun, except me!
Heidi, maybe you should write a crib sheet and put it up for $.99 so we can understand the changes. Otherwise, we'll all be in the theaters with our Kindles trying to follow along! Seriously, it should be great because it's still the heart and soul of the book and I for one am very proud of you that you have a book being made into a movie. Congrats - we always knew that could and should be in your future. Now what an awesome 2 movie deal the Archer brothers would make.
OMG having the Archers made into a movie would be epic. I'm trying. I'm always dropping hints to the producers that I know.
As for the movie - you won't be lost. It's all just perfect.
I have read every book you've written - more that once - and I know you're a top notch author, so I'm totally trusting your word on this. I'm dragging my wife opening day (and how is that for a reversal!
I will be there en opening day. You know what would also make an awesome movie? Playboy Bachelor.
Awe look at your taking your wife on a date! I am hoping to have a screening in Boston too! We'll see. I have to speak to the Producers about it.
Movie was good but the book was way better. There were ALOT of changes. I felt like the only thing they kept the same were the names and that he left and came back! To many changes. The book was a great story why change so much?!
