@Thomas Read his answer here: https://www.goodreads.com/questions/9...

Lucía tbh, Chris, I don't think it would be boring at all, since I'm sure you would write it in a way we would enjoy it. Furthermore, it happened with a lot of books/films, that they decide to write the past before we know the end. And I never find it boring! (well of course there are exceptions) And I'm sure there are lot of things about their past that are in your head and that would add to the story a bunch of greatness. So I'm pretty sure I'm not alone when I say, please do it!! Give us Brom, Selena, Galby, Oromis Morzan everyone!!! Let us cry our hearts out!!! (L)

message 4: by Jada (new)

Jada Bledsoe you should totally write about it! it would be so awesome, and so what if we already know how it ends? We all know how books end (good guys win, bad guys loose most of the time) and they aren't boring!

message 5: by Rinji (new)

Rinji I would read that book if it came out. I love Eragon and would love to know more about Brom and all the other dragon riders before the Inheritance Cycle books began. It would be a fun read and enjoyable in my opinion.

message 6: by Brandon (new)

Brandon I would read it for sure as well!

message 7: by Crystal (new)

Crystal Wisdom The Inheritance Cycle is among my favorite book series. I would love to read about Brom and his life before Eragon.

message 8: by Rachel (new)

Rachel Cooper Brom is my favorite!!! You should definitely write all about him!

message 9: by Donnovan (new)

Donnovan I'd love a story on Braum

message 10: by Theo (new)

Theo The guy who wrote Lord of the Rings thought it would be boring and look how that turned out. I'd love to have a book especially for Brom I think it would be good because people don't really know him about from the fact he was a Rider and Eragon's father.

message 11: by Kayla (new)

Kayla I don't think reading about how Brom came to be a rider and his adventures and the heartache of him losing his closest companion could ever be boring! I vote for a Brom Series! :)

message 12: by Jack (new)

Jack I hate to disagree with the Author, but I think that you're wrong. The World you've built could only be enhanced by letting the rest of us in on the history of the characters. I'm sure that there are other things you want to write about, but please don't forget about the story that brought so many of us great pleasure.

message 13: by John (new)

John Roy Blasphemy, I would read those books. a richer history of a series is always welcomed. Any fan of your books will read these books and im sure as long as you enjoy the book and enjoy writing it so will your fans. Doesn't matter that we know the ending its the journey that matters the most.

message 14: by Lena (new)

Lena I personally would LOVE to read more about Brom! And many of my friends agree!

message 18: by TunsAXP (new)

TunsAXP I'm curious how do i ask Christopher a question?

message 19: by Wolf (new)

Wolf Lover I agree with the boring part, but still, you should write more about Brom and maybe Eragon, too.

message 20: by Derek (new)

Derek Slattery Just starting to sleep in a sea of stars should I read appendix before or after book

message 21: by Christina (new)

Christina I disagree, the best part of the story is how characters grow and change and get to that ending so I think you should go for it!

message 22: by Myth (new)

Myth Button That didn't stop Revenge of the Sith.

message 23: by John (new)

John Earlywine Man, let it be boring! Brom is my favorite next to Murtagh! which I've recently bought! cant read it though. I'm not finished with the Inheritance Cycle. but soooon! Brom should honestly have a book series all his own. brom, Dood was a bad mammyjammy! just the few things we learned about him, WOAH! He brought an end to the foresworn and kept an eye Eragon, the soon to be shadeslayer. BROM!!!!!!

message 24: by Benjamin (new)
