Yes, there is a plot here. Mysterious left gloves disappearing... is it deliberate? Is some sinister person out there toying with your mind? Where are the lefts? Where are the lefts? And who must have them?? What does it mean? A nations fate could be in jeopardy! A psycho thriller. Harry Hole #12
Perhaps you can find someone who keeps losing their right glove, and collaborate on future purchases??

My Canadian mum attached our gloves and mittens on what she referred to as "Idiot Strings". There are many things in life that could benefit from attaching an idiot string

Not the glove.
It's a one armed burglar that lives near Jo, he leaves his house to start his dirty deeds when he realises he has left his glove at home........he's not very organised.
I have them. I lose all my right handed gloves. I'm not even left handed.
