I am another one who was snared by those audible shorts. I used to keep a bunch of free short stories handy for when I would finish one book mid commute so I always had something to tide me over until I could download or check out another book. Listened to the Viscount and Witch and was hooked from there after. You wife clearly knows what she is doing.
I have finished the Revelations Trilogy and all I have to say is Thank You Michael. Both to you and your wife for her trapping idea.
An exceptional read and a wonderful piece of escapism in a rough few months.
The Crown Tower is already queued up and ready to go. I'm looking forward to it.
