Wow! I was not expecting such an in depth answer. Thank you! I totally get what you're saying, but for the record, I wouldn't have been able to tell the different writing circumstances if you hadn't told me. I can't wait for Falling Away!
You are one of my favorite writers with an amazing writing style. I read a lot. Majoring in French and English literature, I had to read a lot of classic writers, and you definitely place among the best of the best. So be your self, because that’s what makes you great, unique. Not any writer can write something memorable.
I don’t know how I feel about “Rival”. I expected more because the first 2 books were so amazing. “Until you” is so profound and it has moments that touched my soul deeply; Tate’s monologue made me cry, but I felt nothing while reading “Rival”.
“Rival” lacked that profoundness, and I feel that you tried to make this book ordinary. Ordinary is forgettable, I look forward to reading “Falling Away”. I feel that we are going to see Penelope Douglas I was truly impressed with.
I have to say that just this year I've read all 5 books twice. I couldn't help it. I love them so much!
I loved the entire series! Thank you for sharing your talent as a writer. I look forward to reading more of your books!
Just started reading Penelope's books, and oh my lord!!! Rivals is my favorite so far. I need more books from the Fall Away series. PLEASE!!
