I agree ian deserves a whole other book just to get to the depth of his personality.
as a huge fan (that speaks arabic fluently, on a daily basis) if you want any help it would be my honor.
Arabic pronounciations is a bit complicated as it differs from a country to the other, the accents and some words change. What you wrote in the book was extremely basic arabic that "technically" no country speaks it on a daily basis, it is used while telling the news or writing a prescription or something..

Sorry for rambling anyhow as I said any help needed in arabic I'd be honored..
