I hope the TV series really takes off and demand grows for #4. I rather optimistically have it on my book calendar as a tentative new release. =)
I love these characters too and would love another book. Hope it happens for you (and for us)!
I think the only way that we'll see another "Midnight Texas" book is for followers to inundate the publishers with request for more!
Charlaine, do you only write books for Publishers or do you primarily write for yourself because you get a Story Inspiration?
I wondered if you ever find yourself thinking about a character (like thinking about a family member) and suddenly get an idea for a story about them. It could just be a tiny flash of an idea that you want to really flesh out, that becomes a new novel.
(I always assumed that's how it always worked.)
